• 27 Wonders would love to travel to capture your wedding. We offer a simple travel option. Add $900 to any collection if your wedding is over 100 miles from Portland Oregon in the continental United States. This takes care of flights, trains, buses, horse-drawn carriages, rickshaws, ferries, accommodation, and any ground transportation. You do not need to worry about a thing!

What is an Adventure Engagement Session?

My dears what a way to spend a day!

Why do we do engagement sessions? Is it just for the images? Well the images are amazing and I am definitely biased but really an engagement session is about so much more. It is about creating a memory of who you are together, as yourselves. Dressed as you dress and doing what you love to do. Wedding photography is important of course. but engagement images give you a time capsule of the you that you are today. On a day like any other.

An engagement session also gives us a chance to get to know each other. Most people have never spent much time with a photographer following them around and feeling nervous or awkward is totally normal! Over the course of your session, I promise all of these butterflies will fly away. We will have a great time and when your wedding day comes you will barely blink at me clicking away.

So what is the process like?

First dream big about your favorite place.

Where do you feel most yourself? Most adventurous? Most free? Where do you feel a smile spread across your face? Where do you see the two of you, hand in hand hair blowing in the wind? This is it! This is the place we must go and make images for your future!

Next, we meet and have a relaxed wonderful time of it.

Adventure engagement sessions are your excuse to push the envelope, to explore together. There are no rules. It is often better if it rains or snows. Weather is our inspiration. In your one to two-hour session feel free to hike, splash or just snuggle by a blazing fire.
